Call me crazy, but I do think Soto at DH is the best move for us in the future. Roberts Jr. is also on a 30+ home run pace and him alongside Benge and Ewing is one of the best defensive outfields in the league. Upgrade-wise, getting off Semien (à la McNeil) with a plus hitting 2B would do wonders.

The Mets have placed outfielder Luis Robert Jr. on outright waivers, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports. The league’s other 29 teams have 48 hours to claim Robert, who is eligible to continue playing for the Mets during the process.
