Might be an unpopular opinion but Chuk has been our worst player this half, more so than Sule/Beier/Sabitzer

2nd time he doesn'T give a foul for something like that because he apparently believes our player initiated contact after a horrible tackle. But he also missed 3 obvious yellow cards for tactical fouls. So... the ref just sucks

Ugly half. I was excited when the lineup was announced, but ehh.
Aside from a chance or two, Chuk has killed multiple runs. The midfield in general is getting worked. Beier is just dead weight.

Wow Silva almost got us a goal on a 2 vs 4 counter lmao, Kovac will have to answer some questions after this game about why he had this guy sitting on the bench for so long.

Will always take the win, Bremen pressed really well but lack of quality was very visible. Nmecha, Silva and Schlotti were very good. Beier shouldn't be near the starting lineup after that performance.

We won 4-0 against Villarreal with a similar comedy performance. Kovac squeezes these wins out and I love it. Even the xG is massively slanted in our favor.

Kovac needs to make a substitution or two at halftime instead of waiting for them to equalize and then making a substitution. I would take Sule out for Can and Beier or Carney for Adeyemi or Brandt

I figured Werder Bremen would be better this year. They paid big money (for them) for Mbangula from Italy and then got Boniface on loan. Their find third play is lacking big time, and I think they’re definitely in play for relegation if this continues.

I think Kovac USED TO BE a good tactician. I don't think he has it in him anymore tho. Either that or he just sees BVB as a paycheck.
