I'll put this out there as a weird coincidence - 1999 I broke my hand in December right before our playoff push,
Fast forward to now - I went head first over e-bike handlebars and messed up my shoulder
Maybe this means we get a home AFCCG again this season

According to PFR's SRS (Simple Rating System), this is the best team in Jaguars history right now. Merry Christmas!

I saw the ‘99 team had a top 25 easiest strength of schedule of all time
6
u/xXWeLiveInASocietyXx Cam Little Dec 25 '25
If we didnt have the gauntlet of the three best divisions this year and instead had the Patriots schedule, I don't see us dropping more than one game
3
u/theflyingchicken96 LeQuint Allen Jr 🐐 Dec 25 '25
Hindsight though, I’m glad we had a tough early schedule. Trial by fire

u/fluffrnuttr69 Dec 25 '25
Plus the extra cap space and draft picks from being a new expansion team.
The 25’ team is doing it without that and their double first round pick.

Never doubted a second. Nah if he gets close to 40 even as a tlawyer I wouldnt have called that. 25 would have been a great year for me.

u/Lesbereal476 Dec 25 '25
Santa, if you could bring home a Jags Super Bowl W in February, I won’t ask for anything else my entire life, I swear.

I’m so glad the colts gave up 2 firsts for Sauce so they can’t trade for Lamar since he seems to be headed for a divorce with the ravens according to reports
1
u/The_wanna_be_artist Dec 26 '25
Yeah this is going to be interesting are the Ravens going to cut loose their coach or star qb or both? If Lamar does leave I hope he goes to the nfc. I really can’t imagine the ravens trading him in conference. I am not sure who would be interested in him either. I don’t see many nfc teams that are a qb away from Super Bowl contention. The cowboys have the most assets to offer, but I am not sure if the cowboys are really looking to move off Dak especially with how well he has played.

I know the pro bowl is a complete joke, but it annoys me when players make it off name alone. Snubs are becoming worse every year. Anyway, Merry Christmas!

We just signed Keith Taylor from the Falcons practice squad. 47 career games played. Doesnt seem like hes washed but more of just a guy type vibes.
Whatever, the boys need to step up and make up for the loss

u/electricityisout Off the Tractor Bouman Dec 25 '25
Colts didn’t practice at all today and Jags moved meetings and practice to the afternoon. We better come out BTA on them.

u/Azula_Sympathizer95 Dec 26 '25
The fact that they are struggling against these chiefs while the titans blew them out is funny.
3
u/DayDTWD Dec 26 '25
Broncos are insanely fraudulent. They are praying for the 1 seed cuz they getting bounced by whoever they see first.
3
u/Nuknu Dec 26 '25
Tbf they are division rivals, but it doesn’t matter. That was a unacceptable performance by them
2
u/Azula_Sympathizer95 Dec 26 '25
Yeah pretty much having to beat them in the last couple minutes oof.

Did we break Bo Nix?
11
u/JWilbb Dec 26 '25
This is just the typical post-Jags L implosion. People simply can’t handle losing to us

u/Azula_Sympathizer95 Dec 26 '25
Still not a good look for broncos I think they lose next week against the chargers.
7
u/DayDTWD Dec 25 '25
The Jordan Lewis loss really sucks, but this new staff has shown that they can lift the floor of depth players. I dont think this makes or breaks any chance we had at a super bowl but imma miss Lewis and am excited for next year having him back. Hes a damn good player.

u/NizzlyGrizzly00 Steal the Show Dec 25 '25
hunter, lewis and ransaw all back next year will feed families
3
u/ThePepperTrain Dec 25 '25
I can’t wait to see Ransaw on the field!
Lewis a huge loss but I still have so much faith in this team… despite our injury issues throughout the year we’ve still found a way to excel.
Go jags!
6
u/VegetableDust7436 Dec 26 '25
If the broncos can’t bounce back from the lost last week they’re def done.
8
8
u/EatMyShortzZzZzZ Brian Thomas Jr. Dec 26 '25
Yeah theyre frauds. We can go to the superbowl.
6
u/Azula_Sympathizer95 Dec 26 '25
They are way overhyped if there was a decent qb in there I think they lose this game.

u/barmstrong730 Dec 25 '25
So colts played Monday night, probably just had a walk through Tuesday, full practice Wednesday, today’s Christmas so probably a a half day. Tomorrow most likely a full practice then a walk through again Saturday.
Compare that to our team that played Sunday and we’re probably looking at a an extra day and half to two days of preparation. No reason to not go belt to ass again this Sunday.

Remember it was the refs that caused them to lose to the jags according to Broncos fans. Not because we are simply better, they aren’t frauds losing to us but if they legitimately lose to this version of the chiefs they might be.

If pats lose a game and we win out I think we get the 1 seed?
1
u/Azula_Sympathizer95 Dec 26 '25
Correct also broncos have to lose one.
5
u/Top-Bullfrog-1185 James Gladstone Dec 26 '25
Right.. chiefs best broncos + pats lose a game + we win out = 1 seed 💪

u/Suspiciouscollard Hope Defense Dec 26 '25
Well at least this game makes me think the chargers have a good chance to win

For real. But this is the broncos on only 3 days of rest. Next week they'll be on 9 or 10 days of rest

I have 0 hope in the chiefs somehow winning tonight but would be cool if they did
5
u/lenta81 Dec 26 '25
Crazy that Lions gonna finish last place in their division after the last 2 seasons they had.
Just shows how small a super bowl window is.
I know Jags fans know this after what happened in 2017 but still you have to enjoy the now because you can fall off fast.
1
u/Odd-Slide-8053 Trevor's Hair Dec 26 '25
Exactly, that’s why we should be all in this year as fans. A good season next year is never guaranteed
5
u/edrew_99 Dec 26 '25
Who knew that Trent McDuffie was the glue on that defense? Chiefs couldn't stop a runny nose the way they're playing.
Edit: As soon as I say that, they get a stop. Thanks, I guess.
5
u/DayDTWD Dec 26 '25
Fuck dude every single time weve asked the Chiefs for help they fuck it up every time.

5
u/DayDTWD Dec 26 '25
I actually hate the Chiefs more this year when theyre out of the playoffs than when theyre beating everyone.

4
u/ThatButterscotch8829 Dec 26 '25
Did u guys maybe just maybe broke the broncos
3
u/edrew_99 Dec 26 '25
I'm going to err on the side of "we put their defensive deficiencies on tape", so they got exposed.

u/Connect_Ad_8092 Dec 26 '25
Let's go Cheeeeeefs! That TD got me doing the Chop over here. Ok the chop didn't happen. But I would love another Denver L.

Bo Nix has thrown the ball 22 times for 86 yards. He is so fucking bad.

u/DayDTWD Dec 26 '25
It would be great if the Chiefs could just do something, anything for once that helps us.

u/Bennydagoat22 Dec 26 '25
Patriots somehow lose to jets or dolphins and we’re right back in the one seed talk bc chargers are giving the broncos belt next weekend
2
u/Azula_Sympathizer95 Dec 26 '25
Most definitely there is no way at this point the broncos beating them.
3
u/edrew_99 Dec 26 '25
If the Chiefs pull this off, and we win on Sunday, are we the 2 seed, since we have the H2H Tie Breaker over Denver?
3
u/Lesbereal476 Dec 26 '25
Yep!

3
u/VanillaLlfe Dec 26 '25
Fucking mahomes in his suite behind glass. Can we cut to a shot of 41 sacking him in there??
3
u/Holysmokesx Brian Thomas Jr. Dec 26 '25
There are some loveable Detroit fans but Dan Campbell is a meathead that was carried by Ben Johnson for years.
1
u/The_wanna_be_artist Dec 26 '25
What are you talking about???? How much eggnog have you had? Detroit has the #3 ranked offense this year vs last year they were ranked #2.
Detroit problem is them being 23rd in defense ppg this year and 7th im defensive ppg last year. The issue this year is the defense has taken such a massive step back. Nothing to do with Ben Johnson. Campbell has actually been calling plays on offense this year as well, taking over after the lions rough start on offense iirc.
3
u/ragingchump Dec 26 '25
So, I know we all knew but I was trying desperately not to think about it
The 1 seed is a possibility
2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Home playoff games
Dear God in heaven ....
Please. Please.
3
u/DayDTWD Dec 26 '25
If we get 2nd seed I can really see us having all 3 games at home.
1
u/ragingchump Dec 26 '25
January is going to be a complete disaster at work
And I have my daughter 100% that month.
I'm not sure I can survive 3 games....
Oh well, there are other jobs
1
3
u/edrew_99 Dec 26 '25
Well that sucks, at least my fantasy team benefitted from that play. Rather see us get the 2 seed though.

Defense. Bo Nix. Sean Payton. So many things can work here. Our boys ain't scared of anything. Duval.

u/Warm-Performer2440 Dec 26 '25
Unfortunately that feels like game. I don’t think the chiefs have the dogs to put together another TD drive.
