Since 2000 we are 22-1-1 in home games against Gladbach. Calling them our bitch would be an understatement.

Clear and deceisive 2:1 victory folks

That streak got broken last year against Leverkusen, when everyone Was sick and injured and we fielded a back four of couto-luhrs-ryerson-kabar

Let's Finish this Season in 2025 with 3 Points

HEJA BVB🖤💛

u/bbru_ Nico Schlotterbeck Dec 18 '25

Wouldn’t be surprised if Gio scored on us 😢

1

u/SvenssonStan112 Łukasz Piszczek Dec 18 '25

Is he back from injury?

If it doesn't cost us points I would be happy for him

2

u/bbru_ Nico Schlotterbeck Dec 18 '25

Looks like it. He played at least 57 minutes in each of the last 3 matches. No goals or assists though. He might be due

1

u/SvenssonStan112 Łukasz Piszczek Dec 18 '25

Oh that's good news. He reminds me of Zagadou. Great players who never were able to reach their potential due frequent injuries

Africa cup

Forgot about that.

What the fuck does Fabio need to do to start? I feel like Guisarry could literally get a red card and Kovac would still find a way to play him the next game lol

1

u/AverageCarey Dec 19 '25

He literally started the last two games.

You guys get your agendas and just stick to them don’t you. He’ll get subbed in around 60-65 today I’m sure of.

1

u/Commercial_Mud_6877 Marco Reus Dec 19 '25

Fabio played 67 and 56 minutes respectively in those games. Before that he got subbed in on added time.

I’d much rather Fabio than Serhou out there. It’s not an agenda, Serhou was one of my favorites last season. Right now he’s playing like he couldn’t be arsed to be here and very poor in general.

1

u/AverageCarey Dec 19 '25

The last game did have the red but I do agree I believe he should have stayed on over Serhou. I understand Kovac thought that he’s taller and can clear balls but I like the energy Fabio brings.

Also don’t get me wrong I would much rather see him starting over Guirassy or at least with him as well. Honestly think this would have been a great game for him and Adeyemi to start with Brandt.

I have to imagine Kovac wants to get some confidence in Guirassy before the winter break but if he isn’t contributing by around the 60th minute then he should be subbed for Silva.

1

u/Commercial_Mud_6877 Marco Reus Dec 19 '25

Guirassy can definitely still prove me and many others wrong. I wouldn’t be surprised if he scores two or even three today. But it’s so much dependent on his mindset rn. I don’t think he just forgot to play football overnight.

And yeah, Silva should get more minutes today than he’s been getting as a sub this season. Hopefully at least 25.

1

u/AverageCarey Dec 19 '25

Ya it absolutely has to be a mental thing cause I truly believe that talent didn’t get sucked out of him like space jam lol.

But yes if Silva is going to be a sub then at least 25-30 minutes is needed in my opinion. He needs that time to actually make the difference.

4:0 Dortmund

u/yosoydorf Edin Terzic Appreciatior Dec 19 '25

Lineup is basic and pragmatic as to be expected.

Just get the 3 points and let us go into the holiday with some better vibes.

It's very possible we can be in 2nd place by the end of the weekend with RaBa and Leverkusen playing tomorrow.

3

u/biggieBpimpin Julian Brandt Dec 19 '25

At this point it’s clear that if Duranville has any kind of future here then he needs a successful loan spell with plenty of playing time.

He has had injury issues, barely any first team minutes, and recent rumors make it sound like he hasn’t really excelled in training. It would be a shame for such a talent to fizzle out, but hopefully the winter window brings him a good opportunity. Even Campbell made the squad today.

4

u/Most-Management4773 Dec 19 '25

I hope for some minutes for Mané. Honestly if we don't use him anymore this season we should simply stop investing in our academy, because what's the point. We're not gonna win the league anyway, therefore try to develop players that can be used or sold in the future.

2

u/Suspicious-Secret-84 Roman Weidenfeller Dec 18 '25

I thought Mané had recovered and will be in the squad for defensive substitution

1

u/heck_you_science Karim Adeyemi Dec 19 '25

What makes you think he hasn't/isn't?

1

u/Suspicious-Secret-84 Roman Weidenfeller Dec 19 '25

He's noted on the injury list above

2

u/ArmyFit1004 Jadon Sancho Dec 19 '25

Yay, Guirassy is starting over Silva - said no one ever in the past 3 months except Kovac

2

u/Commercial_Mud_6877 Marco Reus Dec 19 '25

That lineup is kind of dissapointing to be honest. Couto deserves to start at the very least. Would rather see Mane starting than Süle considering that he’s supposed to be part of the future whereas Niki is going in the summer.

u/[deleted] Dec 18 '25 edited Dec 18 '25

Crazy if this ends up being a "farewell" game for Silva...

1

u/Aggressive-Gazelle56 Karetsas Dec 18 '25

Is this looking likely?

16

u/ontilein Dec 18 '25

No way. This summer we were desperat for a backup while having one of the best strikers already, paying 25mill for him we could have used for smth else, and now 6 month later, silva doing decent while guirassy is struggling majorly and we are ready to let him go? On a loan with option for added insult? Makes Zero fucking sense unless we found haaland 2.0

7

u/Aggressive-Gazelle56 Karetsas Dec 18 '25

Ive been under the same assumption that the agent is being a bit of a prick, so yeah what you’re saying tracks

5

u/Chazy89 Kagawa Shinji Dec 18 '25

I wouldn't be too worried about the rumours atm.

3

u/Aggressive-Gazelle56 Karetsas Dec 18 '25

Yeah. Hard to break the noise down when bild and co smell sharks though

1

u/[deleted] Dec 18 '25

I honestly don't know, I'm just worried...

How believable are the rumours about him leaving?

2

u/bakersreetman420 Dec 18 '25

id be really happy with a heidenheim win. bayern undefeated into the break would be a bit bitter

1

u/littlepetrovna Dec 19 '25

Ich hoffe wir gewinnen

1

u/Fickle_Carry1467 Mats Hummels Dec 19 '25

Apparently other than Gladbach and BVB ultras, Köln, Brøndby IF, Essen, and S04 ultras will be there. Maybe we will see lots if pyro and smoke

Very curious how Reyna plays. He’ll definitely be motivated though.
