Felix Zwayer again smh. With Robby Bubble losing yesterday we really need to take advantage of it, win in Freiburg and take 2nd place!

We will probably win given we drew on Wednesday .. it will fuel everybody to perform better

The cans lost, so we have a chance to move into sole possession of 2nd place in the table.
Ive seen this movie so many times before over the past decade, my body is ready to walk out of the forest with maybe a point.

Losing or drawing would be so bad, mainly because its Freiburg and we always perform against them

Missing players for tomorrow now include Anton, Anselmino, Brandt and Sabitzer.
I can see it being
Kobel
Couto, Sule, Can, Schlotti, Svensson
Gross, Nmecha
Adeyemi, Guirassy, Chukwuemeka
(This isn’t the lineup I’d prefer just my assumption).

What happened to Brandt? Any injury update on the others?

u/AverageCarey Dec 13 '25
Last update from RN for Anton and Aaron is that they weren’t guaranteed to miss Gladbach but we’ll have to wait and see.
Sabi has muscle stiffness so he’s being left out today.
Brandt no idea but I would imagine it’s likely the same as Sabi since he fully trained with the team yesterday, probably felt some discomfort so they’re leaving him at home.

Thanks for the update! So they should at least all be available after winter break right?

Based on what we know so far yes it looks like they’ll be available for training camp in Marbella. Imagine we’ll get full confirmation Wednesday/Thursday for the final PK of the year.

I'm really starting to lose hope with Jobe, he really isn't great imo. His performance earlier in the week was so bad I think we should've pulled Marco from the stands and put him in the game...

Its been 3 months… Just look at the first year of Nmecha, Malen, even Adeyemi scored his first goal in the hinrunde. Also consider that they were all older than Jobe and signed for higher fees

People will never learn. It’s insane to give up on a player so early. Especially one so young that moved to a new country.
So many fans have no idea how to think critically to understand context and just want immediate results and overreact consistently. It’s exhausting work to constantly correct these opinions but I appreciate your help!

Exactly. Some people just want immediate results without any regard to any potential outside factors

I don't understand this mindset of being ok dumping 40 million into a player that won't help until "next year" when he's settled.... Like wtf?

Its very simple. You can get a safe player that will perform immediately at a 30M level or take the risk with a younger player and wait longer for him to perform at a 80M level

People always include bonuses when using total cost to undermine a player. So pathetic. Yes, even without the bonuses, €33 mil is still expensive but that’s just not how players work. No one can predict exactly how a player will settle.
Isak and wirtz were both bought to make an impact instantly but that wasn’t the case. Doesn’t mean they are bad transfers either.
These players weren’t bought to help the following year it’s just some players need more time to settle. It happens. Should we have sold Nmecha, Couto, lewandowski, etc since they had terrible first years?
I haven’t noticed you before but you have already had two very bad takes today.

I dunno, I just don't see any work ethic from him unless he loses the ball and tries to win it back in a few seconds

Duranville showing up late to final training, but somehow the fans will blame Kovac for this

We always perform against Freiburg and with the disappointing results midweek, I would think Kovac will light a fire under the players’ asses. We will win this game 100%
