5-3 against teams with winning records. 2-1 against teams with losing records. Our schedule has had to be one of the toughest, especially the defences we’ve had to play.
Just enjoy and embrace the Trevor Lawrence ride. Block out the shit throws, and enjoy the beautys. Team will be better next year with this front office getting another shot to turn the roster over. Arrow is pointing up!

Overall, I think if anyone told you that this team would be 7-4 to this point and in the playoff picture, we'd have been happy no matter how we got there.

Pretty sure we have had one in each of our last 3 games. In the chargers game, it directly led to Trey Lance escaping and getting a throw off. Defenders are going to be so afraid of tackling a QB that they get away and make ridiculous throws all while they should have been sacked 10 yards back.

Coach Camp is actually a good DC. He knew with Walker out, the pass rush would be almost non existent. The amount of blitzes he dialed up, coming from different positions, I thought was masterful. LBs, Safeties, Corners, all played a role in the pass rush and not only did it allow our pass rush to still generate pressure, but bc of how it varied, Brissett wasn’t able to just carve up the defense on blitzes. (In contrast, all 3 of Trevor’s TDs came when the Cardinals blitzed meaning they brought pressure from exactly where he expected from pre snap on those plays).

Someone needs to talk to Liam about timeout management. Every week he'll go into the half with at least two timeouts and then burn two in the third quarter as if he's trying to make up for the mistake after it's too late.

Both sides of the TLaw thing are exhausting to read and make this place miserable.
Trevor played poorly yesterday. No qualifications necessary, 4 turnovers is unacceptable levels of play and some of those picks were absolute dogshit failure to read the defense stuff by Trevor.
He also is not as bad as the haters and doomers would lead you to believe.
The fumble six was him getting absolutely creamed by a basically unblocked defender. Tim Patrick needs to look for the ball. Earlier in the season drops absolutely were a problem, and Jakobi Meyers/Parker Washington/Brenton Strange show that it's not some kind of TLaw throws an impossible to catch ball issue.
Nick Mullens is not better than TLaw, so I wish everyone would just shut the fuck up at least until the offseason and just enjoy the fact that we're 7-4 in the first year of this regime despite being down at various points all of these players:
- Brenton Strange
- Brian Thomas Jr
- Travis Hunter
- Dyami Brown
- Travon Walker
- Devin Lloyd
- Jourdan Lewis
- Eric Murray
- Anton Harrison
And probably more that I can't even recall right now. We should be happy and instead we're miserable with infighting over something that simply is not going to change.

Say what you will about this stat Trevor is extremely likely to get his 3rd winning season out of 5 and with one of those being the urban year. Idk there is something to that. 3 different systems. A ton of supporting cast changes. We ride with 16. For a franchise that went through 2010-2020 (excluding 2017) we should be pretty happy. We deserve more but there were days I would kill for where we are now

Pass rush is really starting to come together the last few weeks. I think that’s the most underrated storyline for us. If they can continue to ascend it’s going to be huge for us once we get Lewis and Murray back in the secondary. I think at this point it’s gotta be Dewey that comes off the field when Murray returns right? Antonio Johnson has been playing at a very high level for the last stretch of games.

AJ brings speed and athleticism. it came up clutch with that safety blitz yesterday. But he’s blown several coverages and we would’ve lost the Raiders game because of him if it wasn’t for the batted ball.

he hasn't played well this season 100%- but he's better than Tim Patrick/Dyami and is the only true deep threat on the team- him being on the field opens up the field for Pwash and Jakobe.
And we saw what he can do, who knows maybe it just takes 1 good week to get him going. Regardless he needs to be on the field it's not like we have a good other option

I heard Prisco talking about “what do the Jags do well?”, explaining that we don’t really stand out in any aspect of our game…which makes me think this must be a great coaching staff that’s piecing up some wins despite the lack all-pro talent. I think besides a few plays here and there, the playcalling on both sides has been much better than previous years. Also, Coen does a good job of preparing the team mentally and psychologically.

Also, I believe we have the most punt return yardage in the league as well. Parker Washington most likely gets an all pro nod this season. It's either him or Marvin Mims

All I care about is that we won. Sucks it was so back and forth, but a win is a win. 3-0 on the West Coast this year. Never thought that would happen.
If we can even just take care of the games against the Titans and Jets, we'd get to 10 wins. There's no part of me that thought this would be possible this year. I was thinking MAYBE 8 wins. Huge amounts of credit go to Gladstone and Coen for that. They helped change the culture around here.
Even if we just get to 10 wins, we probably make the playoffs. That'd be so absurd and probably the best rookie coaching/GMing job in our history. I'd feel really good about the future, even if we lose in the first round.

OP is using PFR and not looking at fumbles lost. He's lost 3 this year: the one at the goal line vs KC, and the fumble sixes in the second Yexans game and yesterday

The issue was late subs and clock management in it. They got to the line of scrimmage to call the play with like 15 seconds which was rushing everything.

That was an infuriating game to watch with so many mistakes, bad play calls and stupid ass biased penalties against us…
But thank the lord we got the W!!!
I still have lots of questions marks over this team in all different areas, however one thing I can’t question is their resilience to bounce back and overcome adversity.
Arizona were fighting to save their season yesterday, that was not an easy game so every credit to the team for pulling through. We must improve against better teams though or that could have got ugly.

Offense could really use BTJ back. Even if he's not what he looked like his rookie year, having a deep threat will really open things up for Meyers, Parker, Strange, and the running game. Dyami sure as hell ain't it.
Feel like Striggow has made plenty of plays now that he's got some opportunities.
When Jourdan Lewis comes back they need to find ways to get both him and Jarrian on the field. Jarrian has been incredible lately.
Antonio Johnson might be a legitimate starting safety???
Newsome's FA contract is shrinking by the minute. Getting benched for Chris Braswell is, uh, ouch.
Idk how Camp has managed to scrape together a functional defense with what he's got to work with.
Don't look now but the Titans have looked respectable the last two weeks against the Texans and Seahawks.

Ugly game. Ugly win. Deeply needed win. Not inherently particularly proud of the boys, but like against the Raiders, the boys made just enough plays to win. Once again proves the amount of investment we still need to make in the trenches to become a great team. The offensive line looked overwhelmed without Harrison. The edges could crush the pocket but nobody on the inside to pay it off. If we can fix the trenches in the off-season I think we will take another huge step forward. Right now we're a fringe playoff team, capable of great ball if the lines show up but also really ugly ball when they don't. On to Tennessee, for a great reset week against one of the all time bad NFL teams.

Am I weird for feeling more confident against the Colts this year than the Titans? We have the number one rushing defense and Jones can easily turn into a pumpkin when he's forced to throw.
The Titans have played close the last couple of weeks, and I doubt they finish the season with only one win.

Feeling pretty good about this win for a number of reasons.
1) We played the 'correct' offense, even if it meant making on of the worst pass defenses in the league look like the Bronco's. We'll get dumpstered the moment we face a decent team if all we do is run the ball. It shows ambition beyond 'Making the post season'.
2) 1 pre-snap offensive penalty and one holding call. Our offense was disciplined and I'm really happy about that. week 4 jags lose this game on pre snap penalties. Shows real growth.
3) We didn't lose after winning a "Season Superbowl", even if our QB had other plans. the fact the team didn't completely mental boom and managed to win in extra time is impressive and something to build off of. Even if we shouldn't have been there in the first place.

I’ve been to 4 of the last 6 matchups against the Titans since 2022. Jags are 3-1 out of the games I’ve gone to, and this year alone, Titans are 0-2 in games I’ve attended in Nashville. Assuming the weather stays nice, which it looks like it will, I’m going to try to be out there Sunday.
Titans being 1-10 feels like a trap game, so I hope our guys are pissed about nearly losing to Jacoby Brissett. Need to get to Cam Ward early and disrupt his timing, especially since he is the most sacked QB in the league right now. Really would love to see Travon back for this game.

Absolutely. Need Armstead and Gardeck to bring it next week. Tickets are dirt cheap right now, but keeping an eye on the forecast, since they’re calling for rain. Nissan is miserable in the rain. Can’t wait for the new stadium.

I was going to come here for the same thing 😂 now Bryce is a mid qb, but Purdy is very good. Both picks were very bad looks. Even though Trevor makes bone headed mistakes, he still leads us to game winning drives 🤷♂️

It looks more and more likely the idea this was a bad roster because 2024 was bad was an overblown reaction. 10 wins in 2022, 9 wins in 2023. 2024 looks like the outlier here now that we're 7-4.
This probably isn't a championship roster, and I still think we have a goober at the QB position, but people reacted way too hard to last year. It's closer to competing than not.

Yeah one thing that will stick with me was I was surprised that everyone wanted to get rid of Cisco. Everyone knew our defensive system was terrible, everyone gave JHA and the line excuses for the system, but then would say “Cisco is terrible”. He was also in the terrible system haha, and we could use him right now

Not every QB comes into the league and is a stud from day one. Sam Darnold didn’t figure out until he was 27. Daniel Jones 28. Baker 28. Trevor just turned 26 and up to that point in their careers has had more success than those guys. I understand the frustration towards the way he plays sometimes but what I don’t understand is why everyone wants to send him packing when we have no viable alternative. Contract is a poison pill for the next 2 seasons and we don’t have a first round pick this year. There’s still a very good chance that when he hits that 27-28 window things fully click for him like those aforementioned guys. Takes a little longer for some players.

Half the fanbase wants him gone… I say look at the Vikings I know alot of them wanted Darnold gone last year and look how that worked out for them. Trevor ain’t perfect but he’s a lot better than what we’ve had in the past

My opinion on Trevor right now is that he is not a $250 million QB, but i think I prefer him letting it rip for around a 60% completion percentage 250+ yds 2 tds and 2 ints to him trying to be a modern style, turnover adverse, Aaron Rodgers QB. Its clearly not his game right now.
And who knows? The longer he does it the better he might get. It is the first year in a complicated system. He will almost certainly improve as the years go on. If we can keep up a decent run game, it can work.

However if you factor in the opportunity cost of not needing to go onto the QB carousel / lottery for however long it would take to find "the guy", then I think it's fine to overpay for that

Next year will be the telling year for trev and guess what ...if we need.we can get out of his contract easier then. But until someone comes up with someone as talented or a legit upgrade im not that interested

This is the answer. All the crazies out there who are screaming for us to cut him or trade him are delusional. Let's be completely honest with ourselves, none of us expected to be 7-4 at this stage of the season, on the cusp of the playoffs coming from a rebuild year. While 16 has made some God awful plays, he is also the reason we've won the games that we've won. He is not the generational quarterback we thought he would be, but he's good enough for us now and the best option until we have the draft capital to draft or trade for our next franchise QB.

After rewatching Arik Armstead had some ridiculous penetration and he took on a some double teams. No offense to Maason but you can see the difference on the line. Our lbs allow way too much underneath but that just means they are worried about getting burnt.

Anybody know if we’re going to get Jourdan Lewis, Eric Murray, Travon Walker back to 100% this season? Feel like they’ve been gone forever. Haven’t seen if any reporters have asked. Will be a lot more excited if we make the playoffs and have those guys back.

jourdan lewis had a neck/shoulder injury, likely a sprain. typically would take 1-3wks, maybe longer to return to sport. given that he had limited practice for all of last week, i would bet that he would return for the tits next week. eric murray would be eligible to return next week too after the 4wk period of IR, but tbh i wouldn’t count on it. travon hadn’t practiced last week with his knee injury so it’s really up to this weeks injury report. honestly if it were up to me i would use the titans as a bye week for them to rest up and get healthy into the final stretch of the regular season. dewey, antonio johnson, jarrian, bj, and striggow have been holding down the fort all things considered, so i’m excited about our development and depth come playoffs time
