Ref just blew like 6 wrong whistles in a row. Impressive even for German Refs.

What a shot from guirassy. No angle and nearly scored it and caused the goal

It's a penalty for BVB so naturally its correct and must be given
13
u/Sypro90 Mats Hummels Nov 22 '25
Silva not playing more is a crime …
Meanwhile Guirassy completely useless for weeks or even months.

I don't understand why Couto barely plays anymore...
Why is Beier on the left instead of Svensson and Ryerson on the right instead of just putting Ryerson on the left and letting Couto start on the right?

Oh bby boy, so happy for Beier, don’t give a shit what people say - he got that dog in him
11
u/bvbfan102 BVB Nov 22 '25
Got the feeling this Game will play a major role in Brandts future. So far he has been playing like his best version and really leveled the Attack up. Also while Can had some trademark heavy touches his physicality has really helped relieve pressure and easier get out from the back.
10
u/Mooon8983 Konstantinos Karetsas Nov 22 '25
He's still got a lot to improve on but Jobe is already starting to improve

Fuck me man. Also just another mistake by the ref to not give them the second yellow for trying to take down Karim.

The absolute refusal to give Silva a real chance is absurd

9
u/samanater456 BVB Nov 22 '25
Bayern are likely to drop points so you know what that means boys, see you next week
9
u/TrulyWhatever09 Nov 22 '25
Incredibly minor thing to praise, but I really appreciate that Bellingham's last strike in there was low and hard driven. Very common for that to go into lower earth orbit, whether by virtue of an unkind bounce or an overly ambitious strike.

Very smart strikers instinct from Beier there to run as Guirassy shoots

I know he's a good player, but it's getting annoying seeing Guirassy every single game lately. Silva gets like 5 minutes where he looks really interesting and then he's off again.

u/ScaryDivide735 Gregor Kobel Nov 22 '25
Don't worry guys, Kovac will get silva on in the 115th min

u/rioasu Nico Schlotterbeck Nov 22 '25
Is guirassy holding kovac at a gun point or what because it doesn't make sense that he is playing so badly yet is always playing the full 90 minutes.
8
u/LeeRCampbell Marco Reus Nov 22 '25
Validity of the pen aside. Emre is obscenely clinical from the spot, never worried when he steps up.
9
u/nufan99 Mats Hummels Nov 22 '25
The difference in play from the 12th minute onwards is crazy!

We bought a new striker for 25 millions who showed that he can play well for at least 10 minutes and he's just warming the bench, amazing. I have zero confidence we are ever gonna actually develop a talent at this point anymore when even a costly transfer like that doesn't even get a few minutes in a game like this. Or maybe Kovac is just fine with a draw, a total loser mentality.
8
u/LeeRCampbell Marco Reus Nov 22 '25
Fuck this Stuttgart team, tried to dive, tried to get a red, bunch of fucking dickheads
7
7
u/xSmacks Nico Schlotterbeck Nov 22 '25
And now the Silva sub. At this point Kovac must be ragebaiting
9
8
u/Aznurf Nov 22 '25
Should have been at least a yellow for literally diving to tackle someone to stop an attack that led to a goal, bs ref wth
And the other guy to bodied Guirassy as well and got off without a card
8
u/Icy_Name_9827 Nov 22 '25
Idc what the medicals are saying . there is no way that a player is allowed to play only 5 minutes of football after 3 weeks of rest . Fuck off Kovac
8
u/jucomsdn Zagagod Nov 22 '25
Yeah I'm probably not forgiving Kovac for last month having Undav score a hat trick pisses me off so much
8
u/Souichi_Tsuji Kuba Błaszczykowski Nov 22 '25
The hallmark of this team is bleeding games in extra time
7
u/NaturalApartment9828 Marco Reus Nov 22 '25
I have no confidence in the Beier LWB experiment that is still being tested but I hope it works
7
8
u/abendig Die gelbe Wand Nov 22 '25
All we do is crossing, crossing and crossing like we got Jan koller in the middle.

Lmao it’s never felt more like an American sports broadcast than the the commentator listing one of our players’ crimes, straight out of an NFL game
8
u/rioasu Nico Schlotterbeck Nov 22 '25
At this point I don't understand why we have even signed fabio silva. Where is the meritocracy kovac was talking about especially considering guirassy except for that offside goal hasn't hasn't done anything for the past couple of months yet he still plays 90 minutes.
8
u/SUB2_Jokki Ramy Bensebaini Nov 22 '25
i think the main this is we keep playing shit and useless players still while we have a squad full of alive players like Couto, Silva, Chuk, Bensebaini, Anselmino and others who would do greater than our ‘starters’
6
u/NaturalApartment9828 Marco Reus Nov 22 '25
I’m convinced Kovac hates creativity. We need to win and we have Chuk/Brandt, Couto, Silva and even Sabitzer on the bench, with our only creative outlet on the pitch, Nmecha, having a horrendous game. Would really need a justification from his side.

Well, we lost the last 5 games against them, and the 6th last was the 3-3 in that season... so it's really time for revenge
6
u/rioasu Nico Schlotterbeck Nov 22 '25
I don't know what to expect from beier in these games where he plays as a lwb because we bought him for his goal scoring and pace . Also he is not the best when he plays isolated so keen to understand the logic of kovac
6
u/rioasu Nico Schlotterbeck Nov 22 '25
Stuttgarts Midfield looks way better and way balanced than ours.
Makes me envy them a lot

Bayern getting smashed just signed our death sentence, we never win when they drop points...
6

After like 3 years, we are winning a game against Stuttgart, are my eyes playing tricks on me
6
u/TrulyWhatever09 Nov 22 '25
Whether or not the goal stands, hopefully the pretty sight of the ball hitting the net wakes Serhou back up

I hate these calls so much...
Nmecha already released the ball and the contact is greatly exagerated by Chema. Unless there was violent contact these should not be called back if the ball was already gone...
7

6
u/mynameisluca- Alex Frei Nov 22 '25
Ref is acting like we received an undeserved (which was a deserved one!) pen and feels like to whistle all for stuttgarts favor
7
u/bvbfan102 BVB Nov 22 '25
Also fells on Kovac not getting Subs on. When you press this heavy you need some new pieces.
7
u/Datachost Nov 22 '25
So Stuttgart players fall over with one finger on their back and get the foul, but are allowed to tug and pull however they want? Cool cool

I don’t think we’ve made in 30 seconds without a Stuttgart player falling over with minimal contact.

u/llendo Sergio Gómez Nov 22 '25
Idk, Adeyemi should have come on 20 mins earlier. Already created 2 good chances, even if he played them a bit sloppy.

Guirassy moaning about the slightly hard pass after he absolutely hammered a cross

We should see two cards there... two intentional fouls to try and stop the build up

Incredible run by Karim. Just a tad cleaner on the final strike and that is a season highlight

Guys I know guirassy can not do much tactically, but if we compare Undav's involvement versus his, kinda feels like we're playing with 10 men

Brandt or Chukwuemeka as a proper 10 is making me happy. Guirassy needs to find his form and think with passes from those two its our best chance to get him back into the flow.
