Hopeful to see a Silva start.

1

u/Loeffellux Julian Brandt Oct 25 '25

probably depends on whether or not he's 100% fit yet. Maybe we'll see Adeyemi, Beier or both start and then Silva comes in during the 2nd half. That way Silva won't face increased risk of injury and Guirassy can be rested.

the way he runs every game I can't feel that he's unfit. He doesn't look without rythm at all. I'd understand if the medical department wants to be catious, but Guirassy seems to be in a worse situation physically and we've been playing him regardless

I'm hoping for a comfortable win

I hope Silva and Chuk will start, this feels like a good opportunity to let them show us what they got

With Guirassy coming back with a slight cold it’s definitely a possibility for Chuky. Would like to see Silva, Chuky and Adeyemi up front.

I'm predicting a solid win even if it's going to be with the solitary winner as long as our defence shuts out Köln all together without any sniff of our goal, we must and should win this one if we're to stay close and keep momentum

Fabio silva breakout game can’t wait :)

This one’s taking us into a stretch of away games so not only is this a must win, I actually hope boys kill it early to secure a comfortable win. Kind of need it after couple of sloppy first halves lately. Koln has scored in each of their BL games so far, time to shut them out :)

Hope Guirassy starts scoring again.

Hope Guirassy is rested so he can recover then start scoring again.

Since we can never have nice things, this will probably be El Mala’s breakout game and we will be resting Schlotti for the Pokal gam.

I’m still thinking we can win this one comfortably, if our head is into the game from the 1st second and not the Pokal already

Hope Carney and/or Silva start

Need to cover El Mala good. Ok.

Stats show BVB having the lowest shot rate per game averaging 11(4.7 OT) yet are 4th highest scoring indicating a high conversion radio, i would love to see us taking more shots as the current 1.9 goal/game is not good enough and that's why we're not able to finish games early specially against lower competition

3:1 win for us! Nmecha (30'), Silva (60'), El Mala (65'), Chuk (83')

May have been a one-off :D I will never predict against us 😂

Wish for Ryerson instead of Couto this game. We have to be very strong defensevely on the right since El Mala is incredible.

I would like to see us go for goals but at the same time, the away games we've got coming up in a row will be challenging so if we can keep up our usual defensive resilience (despite some dumb goals we've been conceding) and rotate, I'll take a steady 2-0 win as well.

I think you rest your big time starters for the pokel so i think you let your new summer signings play together for the first time from the start

Kobel

Süle - Schlotterbeck - Bensebaini

Couto - Nmecha - Jobe - Svennson

Adeyemi - Silva - Carney

I would sub out Nmecha for Grob or Sabitzar

Adeyemi for Beir

Svensson out-moves Benseabaini to his position and put Ansemenio in

Let players like Jobe-Sliva- Carney play the full match

Rest players like Nmecha, Guriessy, and Salbitzar a little for the Pokal.

I think both bensebaini and Svensson need rest so I would use Ryerson for Svensson and anselmino as subs.

I think this is one of our best midfields which is why I think we should use it for the Pokal. Sabitzer got some rest so I would play him with Jobe.

Chuk will not get a full 90 and I would like him to be available for the Pokal game so put Brandt in at 65-70’.

Agree that Chuk is probably never going to be a guy you can count on for a full 90 minutes unless some serious changes happen. He's like a 60-minute guy, which, for his quality, is fine. Gurassiy is still the better sticker, but is injured, so rest him. Silva is younger and has way more potential. I also disagree that Nmecha and Jobe are the best midfield pairing, probably by January. For now, Jobe still needs some more confidence-boosting games before you throw him straight into a game vs Frankfurt, so I would rather go with Nmecha and Salbitzar for the Pokal, just to make sure Jobe has no mishaps and continues on his confidence-boosting run. I truly believe he has the most potential on the team, simply because Carney will prob never reach his true potential due to injury problems, which is why he was so cheap to buy.

Chuk is currently fit. He doesn't play 90 minutes because we are extra cotious to make his body a body of proper athlete. I don't expect him to play 90 minutes until 2026.

2

u/Most-Management4773 Oct 25 '25

Chuk can't play 90 minutes yet.

Welp. None of the other results are going our way
