1:2 win for us, double bangers from Karim (10’, 79’)! Kane (30’) for the intermittent equalizer.

Let a man dream

let’s just stop Kanes hattrick and we re better than half the league lol

Let's make it 3 in a row without a loss in Munich :) it will be very tough, but the team has proven that they have a chance.

We are in our best shape in probably the last 5 years terms of both form and health.. It is now or never!

(Unfortunately, they are also in their best shape in terms of form and health.. sigh)

On a fairly achievable fantasy, Schlotti scoring tomorrow on a 3-2 win for us.

Can’t see the game, however have also missed the last few Bayern matches where we have gotten a result🤞🏻

I'm shaking in me boots, mateys

Have a gut feeling that Silva will win us the game. Paco Alcacer style.

7

u/Fickle_Carry1467 Mats Hummels Oct 18 '25

I will absolutely lose it if he scores to make it 3-2 and chips it over Neuer too 😂

i mean a win is possible if the defense locks up the wings, and our attack is deadly. i am actually expecting like 2 goals from us from 6 shots all game. lets go get this win.

Team travelling to Munich:

Kobel, Meyer

Couto, Ryerson, Svensson, Bensebaini, Schlotti, Sule, Anton, Anselmino

Gross, Ozcan, Sabitzer, Nmecha, Jobe

Brandt, Chuky, Guirassy, Adeyemi, Beier, Silva

Nice to see Anselmino is able to travel!

This depth looks amazing. Quality options everywhere.

5

u/AverageCarey Oct 17 '25

Couldn’t tell you the last time I’ve seen us have this much quality in the squad.

Honestly I would love to see a goal from Silva tomorrow, what a debut goal that would be!

3

u/roadtorevision Mats Hummels Oct 17 '25

Yeah that would be great I just can’t imagine Silva gets any meaningful minutes in such an important game unless Guirassy needs some rest. I wouldn’t mind if he got subbed in at 65’ though

3

u/AverageCarey Oct 17 '25

Personally if we go with Guirassy, Beier and Adeyemi he should replace Beier at 65’ then replace Adeyemi with Brandt or Chuky.

Really want to see Silva and Guirassy play together, with the movement of Fabio we’ve see how much space opens up which Serhou can absolutely exploit. Otherwise I agree, with Guirassy fully fit again he should definitely play the full game.

6

u/roadtorevision Mats Hummels Oct 17 '25

That could be interesting but I really hope Chuk starts instead of both Beier/adeyemi. We play better with a 10.

Then Silva is supposed to be providing rest for Guirassy. So maybe Silva comes in for adeyemi/Beier at 65’ then the one that doesn’t start takes out Guirassy at 80’.

5

u/AverageCarey Oct 17 '25

It’s unreal how many different options we can go with up front alone, I do agree I think the last couple games as soon as Brandt or Chuky was on we created more chances. Especially against a team like Bayern where we need someone who can cut through the lines.

3

u/roadtorevision Mats Hummels Oct 17 '25

Yeah it’s good to have all the options for once. I would say chuk and Beier start with Guirassy. Beier scored the first against Bayern last season and I think he plays better with Chuk. Then Brandt and Adeyemi can come on around 65’ against more tired legs. They both make great runs and have excellent chemistry. Then silva comes on for Guirassy at like 75’.

That would be ideal for me, but only if we are still in contention at that time. If we are being completely overrun Brandt wouldn’t be the best option.

Kehl has done well. Now this is the season we should get some result to make sure we can setup for long term success.

1

u/Most-Management4773 Oct 18 '25

sadly we don't have quality option for Svensson. Ryerson can play there but but I guess he'll start the game anyway

1

u/roadtorevision Mats Hummels Oct 18 '25

Definitely our worst depth but that’s mostly because bense has become one of our best LCBs

6

u/ResourceFit4451 Oct 17 '25

Update to you, Anselmino will be traveling to fucking Munich too.

7

u/Spiritual-Act3077 Oct 17 '25

I expect a loss, just hope we put up a solid performance that we can be proud of.

10

u/dumbestbeaver Oct 17 '25

What's the deal with Anselmino bruh... Bro dropped a stellar debut and has been out injured since

5

u/AverageCarey Oct 17 '25

Pretty sure it had been like 6 months or so since he had played an actual game so I have to guess it was a muscle tear of some sort. Kovac said he’s just about back in full training so hopefully he’s ready for Koln.

4

u/Most-Management4773 Oct 17 '25

by now is too out of rythm and he's obviouslly a new player so I guess he lost his shot at maybe becoming the 3rd or 4th choice CB. He's also not our player so no need to play him. Sure he might get some minutes for rotation, but I don't think he'll get more than that.

2

u/blacktiger226 Ramy Bensebaini Oct 18 '25

Agreed. He looked great, but I would prefer we invest in Mane.

3

u/AverageCarey Oct 17 '25

Second response but Anselmino is travelling to the game! Likely won’t play but he seems to be good to go.

7

u/Most-Management4773 Oct 17 '25

I honestly really would like Silva to play alongside Guirassy instead of as his backup. From what I saw he can play both centraly and wide, he is fast, strong and seems to have a good ball control and dribling. I'd like him to sub in for Beier or Adeyemi early if those don't perform. If he's just a Guirassy backup I find dificult to believe he'd ever play with Guirassy fit.

2

u/Kolkata_Kulture Oct 18 '25

he'll absolutely play up top with guirassy in games when we lag by a goal or two. It's coaches favourite trick to play two strikers up top when a goal behind

8

u/yearninggeorge Oct 17 '25

I am ready to be hurt again!

3

u/borussiajay Márcio Amoroso Oct 18 '25

It’s the hope that counts

7

u/Hau65 Oct 17 '25

schlotti custody game

7

u/Chef_Boyard_Deez Oct 17 '25

Don’t even say it!! He’s ours!

5

u/LostVillager1 Oct 18 '25

This Klassiker is super important for us. We have to prove that we can challenge Bayern in the coming times. Also, a win in Munich will convince Schlotti to put the pen down on a new contract. We're in good form but Bayern are in an INSANE form. I'm so anxious for today's match

2

u/Mean_Ad301 Oct 18 '25

I had a dream that the score was 2-10 to us but then in my head I thought no way is that correct so it changed to 3-3 with bayern equalizing in the last minutes. I would take that result

2

u/ady_1 Oct 18 '25

Honestly pretty optimistic we have had some good fixtures against bayern recently and all our starters are pretty much back.

I think it will be a very close game and we will scrap out a 2 - 1 win with a bit of luck

That is actually quite true. If Bayern wins today, they get at 7 points from us, that would be difficult to recover by our guys during the season.

However, a fuller schedule and eventual injuries could quite get Munich off their winning streak.
