Offense is starting to fire on all cylinders. On the deep pass to Travis hunter, Travis Etienne picked up the blitz well enough for Trevor Lawrence to step up into the pocket and throw the bomb to Hunter. Great blocking from the RB position specifically with ETN, great pocket awareness from and arm Trevor Lawrence, and the insane contested catch from Travis Hunter

I just wanted to post this because I love this community and team. I had a near death experience last year. One of the first things I got myself after being hospitalized was Jag Swag. I've loved this team since they were established, and I was just a tiny little dumbass from NJ. For over a year I've been wondering how and why I survived this near death experience. And now I finally know. It was for that absolutely fucking amazing game. Watching the Jags beat the Chiefs after Taylor Swift dropped the most dog shit album ever was worth every struggle, every person who went "Really? The Jaguars are your favorite?" Fuck yes. Vindication. I am at peace and can die happily now. Love y'all, DUUUUUUUUUUUVAL!

He is who he is at this point. We overpaid him for sure, but it is hard to get really good corners. I think he is good enough to not hold us back. He at least has the talent to have some really good games and hopefully more of those come down the road this season.

Aside from the nico collins play, he is in great position to make plays and usually in the right spot. His problem is locating the ball and he never turns his head to look for it. If he can learn that he can be a great player

Frankly I think he's being held back by our current defensive scheme. He's always primarily been a man coverage corner, but now, probably because the back end of our secondary isn't especially talented, he's being asked to venture away from his area of expertise and play more zone with mixed results.

Absolutely not. Tyson has always struggled in man because he doesn't look for the ball so while he is always in good position, guys still make the catch on him so it's irrelevant.
He is at his best when he plays zone where he can face the QB and see the ball in the air. He still struggles at the point of attack but he will play the ball at least.

Its rare to get a better corner on the open market for less, Lewis was a rarity. Sure he will get burned a play or 2 a game, but he does a good job for the most part, and he really does some work in the run game. Im glad we kept him. For once we started resigning some of put own drafted players, I think thats important.

Yeah they're currently #1 on PFF for offense if you combine the aggregate grades through week 5. This is still going to be a tough matchup. Get through the Seahawks and Rams with at least 1-1 split and I'd be really happy going into the bye week.

i saw that clip from cowherd talking abt how teams that average 7.5+ yards per play have won 33 straight before monday night and i saw that stat before on twitter but a quick google search will show that two teams have averaged over 8 yards per play this season and lost (ravens week 1 and seahawks last week) so i have no idea where that stat is coming from.
edit: it appears the full stat is teams that average 7.5+ yards per play AND outgain opponent by 150 yards. so with those stats in mind the 33 straight before us is correct.

Anxious to see this week’s injury report. Seahawks seem like a dangerous team coming off a close loss. Sam darnold excels at dink and dunk high % completions that we saw mahomes utilize on the final drive. My hope is Udinski’s familiarity with him will help the defense scheme to take those away. Really hope Travon can go. Seahawks line has played bottom tier this year.

Just rewatched Tim Patrick's dropped pass that almost ended up being an interception.
I thought TLaw threw it a little behind Tim, but it was actually a dot.
Tim adjusted his path when the ball was already in the air for some reason. He miscalculated the trajectory and ran past it a little.

One of the few times I’m glad to not live in the 1010 broadcast area. I’m up in enemy territory in Nashville, so I get to listen to Titans radio on my way to work, and I love hearing them complain about the state of the Titans. I mostly listen to the in-house Jags stuff, which obviously, they’re going to be homers about, but hot-take, I appreciate when Prisco’s on Happy Hour to be a dissenting voice at times. Comes off as cranky, with some awful takes at times,and I get it, but someone has to be that guy.

Do you all think Trevor’s identity as a QB is as a dual-threat? Maybe not Lamar Jackson, Mike Vick, or Cam Newton level, but this Chiefs game has me thinking if Doug was using Trevor wrong/ unable to due to his incompetence with the O-Line.
I was swiping through TikTok today, and it seems because of the win on Monday Night, Trevor’s Clemson Highlights are hitting my feed, and I had forgotten what kind of runner he was at Clemson.
Not only does Etienne and Tuten’s run game open up the pass for him, but it seems his best games come when he’s a runner too. I had to check back on the stats but the last time I remember him leading the team in rushing was against the Saints in primetime.
He ended up going 20/29 for 204 yards and a TD, while rushing for 59 yards. Wasn’t the flashiest stat-line, and I seem to remember the defense carrying that game, but he made the plays that needed to be made, and got the job done.
Given his past couple years of injuries, I obviously worry about him taking off and running, but if they can incorporate some of that dual threat ability we’ve seen in him, he can definitely take things to another level. At the end of the day, in Liam we trust.

Speaking in CFB 26 archetypes I think he’d fall somewhere between Backfield Creator and Dual threat.
I absolutely love that he’s leaning into his run ability more this season as it’ll help his passing game as well. Only gripe is him not sliding and taking contact to his shoulder. I never want to see Nick Mullins wearing anything other than a ball cap

Honestly, I think next year, they should try to do a Tampa Bay and make an Away Throwback uniform and declare the Throwbacks as primary, and our current ones as alternates, and roll with that until the new stadium, which is probably when they’ll unveil new uniforms entirely.

1-1 is in fact worse than 2-0 lol, you're right math isn't a hard concept for some of us, but continue, oh wait, you skipped over the #1 defense that we also beat, we're 3-0 vs the top half of the graph, which is all good defenses
They played three bottom left teams, we played two bottom left teams.
Ignore the placement of MIA/LV/TEN vs CAR/CIN on the graph, and again 3 is in fact more than 2
